The East Bay Municipal Utility District and Water Education Foundation invite K-8 educators in the East Bay Area to join usĀ for an interactive, interdisciplinary workshop exploring the watersheds and systems that supply our water. Teachers of all subjects and educators of all types working with K-8 students are welcome!
Description
Project WET activities are designed to engage students in the study of water, Earth systems and human interactions with the environment, while supporting Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards.
Learn where your drinking water comes from while exploring the interdisciplinary, hands-on, activities of Project WET.
What’s Included:
- Breakfast and lunch
- Opportunity to register for continuing education units (CEUs)
- A Project WET Guide with dozens of engaging water-centric lessons
- All needed materials, takeaways, and more are FREE!
- Full refund of registration fee upon completion (minus processing fees)
This event is open to credentialed teachers and any other educators who work with K-8 students. This event is hosted in partnership with EBMUD and Water Education Foundation’s California Project WET program.
